Our history

Naacal: The Rise of a Volcanic Heritage

The Awakening (2000 – 2010)

It all began with a certainty: the sun of Soconusco and the Pacific breeze had created a fruit unlike any other in the world. In 2000, a family envisioned the potential of the Ataulfo Mango not as a commodity, but as a botanical treasure. What started as a way to protect their family heritage soon became a mission: to bring the perfection of their land to the most discerning palates on the planet.

The Duality of the Elements (2010 – 2015)

Our expansion was dictated by geography. Following the waterways that flow down from the summit of the Tacaná Volcano , we established our roots in two worlds: Robusta coffee, nourished by volcanic ash, and the Ataulfo mango of the coast, kissed by the sea air. Under the name PROXOC, we learned that the land is not exploited, it is listened to. Every job created was a pact of prosperity with our community.

The Naakal Era: The Alchemy of Soconusco (2015 – Present)

In 2015, we evolved. We left traditional production behind to become Naakal , a word that resonates with the Mayan concept of prosperity (Naakal) . We became the guardians of our own value chain, ensuring that every fruit, every coffee bean, and every drop of honey maintained its integrity.

What began with a mango blossomed into a collection of treasures: pure honey, the nectar of our biodiversity; coffee that holds the chill of the mountains and the coastal warmth that captures the fiery spirit of the habanero pepper. Today, from Tapachula to the world, Naacal doesn't just deliver products; it delivers the soul of Chiapas, transported with excellence to every corner of the globe.
